Kentucky: The City of Hartford

Pursuant to Ordinance 01-06, no person shall engage in any of the trades, businesses, or professions, within the city limits of Hartford, for which licenses are required by any provision of this code or any other ordinance of the city without first applying for and obtaining a license from the City Clerk or other duly authorized issuing authority.

All trades, businesses, or professions, and owners of rental properties of 1-10 units must pay a $60 fee for a Business License. Owners of rental properties of more than 10 units must pay a $120 fee for a Business License. Licenses are valid for a period of one (1) year beginning July 1st and ending June 30th and must be renewed annually.
